Yayasan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Indonesia Cerdas (YPMIC) in collaboration with Stikes Mega Buana Palopo, Stikes Kurnia Jaya Palopo, UIN Alauddin Makassar dan Nursing Academy of Mappa Ouddang Makassar conducted International Nursing, Health, and Research Conference (INHRC) 2018 at D’ Maleo Hotel Makassar, 10 – 11 November 2018.

This conference with theme “Good Health and Well-being to Strengthen United Nation Goal for Sustainable Development” was attended by the chief of Indonesian Association of Educational Institutions (AIPNI), Indonesian National Nurses Association (PPNI) and some invited speakers such as a speaker from Mahidol University Thailand, International Islamic University of Malaysia (IIUM), and International Interfaith Initiative India.

This event comprised conference and seminar. The seminar participants consisted of 147 participants and 52 oral presenters. In plenary session, there were four rooms provided for oral presenters based on the themes, namely Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health, Adult Health Services, Public Health, Community and Mental Health, Education, Policy and Management in Health.

Dr. Arbianingsih as the cheaf of the committee truly apreciated the enthusiasm of the participants from various regions and countries. Moreover, she apreciated the participants for their willingness to still learn and update their knowledge and insight especially in nursing field.

This event was conducted as a forum for exchanging ideas about health to realize and improve the health status of the nation. Hopefully, the International Nursing, Health and Research Conference 2018 can provide sufficient space for communication in the health sector to accelerate the achievement of the SDGs. Promote elitist and health dialogue to achieve SDGs goals, Share ideas, experiences, and strategies to improve the health of the nation.
